Ongoing Project in Tanzania
On June 15, 2023, LandBridge provided a pilot project grant of $1000 to Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance (TLTA) to help identify and provide aid to 50 vulnerable women to secure their land titles. On August 10, 2023, the TLTA successfully secured the titles for the selected beneficiaries and conducted an issuance ceremony to conclude the pilot project.
On October 10, 2023 following the success of the initial pilot project, LandBridge issued a follow-up grant of $4000 to the TLTA to secure documented land rights for another 200 women in rural Tanzania.
On December 10th, 2023 TLTA announced the completion of issuance of titles for the 200 selected beneficiaries throughout 11 rural villages in Tanzania.
