We Help Women Secure Their Land

LandBridge is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

Today, less than 20% of landholders worldwide are women.

LandBridge helps women worldwide overcome barriers to land ownership.

We work with local organizations to provide last-mile assistance to women.

The 2024 World Bank "Why Land and Property Rights Matter for Gender Equality" paper highlights that strengthening women’s rights to housing, land, and other physical property (known as “HLP”) has numerous positive impacts:

  • Greater bargaining and decision-making power of women;

  • reduced domestic violence;

  • increased consumption;

  • better child welfare; and

  • the ability to transition to off-farm labor and income.

Why We Focus On Women

Consider asking your employer for a matching grant to amplify the number of women you can help secure legal documentation for their homes.

Your donation directly impacts the lives of vulnerable women around the world.

On average, $100 provides one woman with secure legal documentation for her land. Recurring contributions help us consistently provide funds for women in need!

Your Donation Matters

“With this support from LandBridge, we now can reach women who no longer had hope to get their land title.”
